Question
I don't know if you can help me on this but a couple weeks ago someone stretched my heel stretch really far and then when he let go it hurt really bad and
still does today. I have my left splits but when I try to pull the stretch it hurts
really bad. Is there any way I can stop the hurting but get the stretch?

Answer
Hi Meagan,

I'm not a doctor or trainer, and it's hard to say without seeing you, but it sounds like you pulled a muscle when you "got" stretched. The only thing that will heal that is time. It can take up to 6 weeks for a pulled muscle to heal. When you stretch your heel stretches you need to do it gradually, never pushing too far into an area of pain.
For now, you should get to a doctor or trainer and let them look at you to make sure its a pull and not something worse. And, then in the future, be careful of how far you stretch and who stretches you. Good luck.

Happy Cheering,
