Question
Hi!
I started cheering just about a week ago. I've had no experience in anything really. I danced (ballet) for about a year but I can't even do a proper split. Is this bad?

Answer
Hi Macy,

No, its not bad. Everyone had to start from somewhere, even the best cheerleaders in the world. The best thing you can do it pay attention to what others around you are doing and practice, practice, practice. If you're with an experienced team, you've got a lot to catch up on, so workout, practice, and don't be afraid to ask for help from your coach and teammates. They'll be glad to see how dedicated you are! Good luck.

Happy Cheering,
Kimmi
