Question
ok hi,
I am an upcoming senior and before my school is starting a cheerleading squad.. do you think that its too late for me to start cheering.. i mean i've been a dancer all my life but i have never cheered... i cant even do a cartwheel but this is something i really want to do.. do you think its too late for me to try this out? especially because i am a senior?

Answer
The fact of the matter is simple. Its never too late. I never cheered until college. Now when you start later than most of course its more difficult. I got cut my first year of college and then stunted with some girls and practiced for a year and made it my second, even ended up being the male captain my final year. What I would ask myself if I were you is do you want to be a cheerleader or do you just want to cheer this year at your high school. If your answer is the first then its easier because there are all-star squads and college if you do not make your high school squad. Either way if this is something you want to do you have to practice, give it your all and go for it. I made a cheerleading career out of doing what people told me I couldnt..lol..you can do the same.
