Cheerleading/starting a squad

Question
I'm looking to start a squad simply because of the fact that i cant get on a squad because i dont know how to tumble. While that is a very great aspect a cheerleader should have.. i dont like how it limits you to certain level squads. I feel I am really good with everything else a cheerleader should have. I'm sure there are other girls or guys out there that have the same problem and i want to give them the opportunity they should have. Not denied from a great squad because they cant flip around. Would you be able to set me in the right direction to starting. I have absolutly no idea where to even plant my first step.

Answer
Getting people shouldnt be too difficult as long as you're in an area with a decent population. Basically though you're going to have to find a place to practice. So you are going to want to contact any and all all-star gyms in your area and see what they should charge to let you use the gym for practice. Also for uniforms you can just google cheerleading uniforms and you'll get ALOT of responses. Also to be honest while I'm completely with you on the non-tumbling that keeps you off a squad but if you're going to compete you'll want to find some who can tumble. And you'll need to see if it's going to be all-girls or coed. Feel free to send me as many follow-ups as you want b/c that's a pretty complex question.
