I'm a 17 year old high school junior and I wanna try out for my school's cheer squad for the 2nd time. I didn't make it the first time and I'm sure what went wrong. I don't have any experience in qymnastics or tumbling, and I'm not sure if I should go for junior varsity or varsity. And I think it wold be kinda embarrassing to be a senior cheering j.v. HELP!!!!!

I don't think that a senior doing JV would be embarrassing! But if you do want to make a team, I suggest that you take a tumbling class at least once a week till try outs. They really help and could get you some skills that would make you look better at tryouts! Also, I would see if any of the cheerleaders that currently cheer at your school could help you out with some things like jumps, stretching, and teach you a few cheers. You have to go into tryouts ready, you can't just go without knowing a lot. So do your homework if you really want to make it! Good luck and let me know if you need anything else!
