Cheerleading/Stretching

Question
My legs won't stretch when my team tries to stretch me out. What stretches can I do to not be so tense? Because I can't split or do a "worthy" toe touch.

Answer
Flexibility comes with time. Don't give up! My advice for you is to just sit in the splits, frog stretch, and middle splits as much as possible on your own at home. The more your work on it and the harder you push yourself the more flexible you will get. As your muscles become more stretched out they will get easier and easier to stretch and it will not hurt or be tense or stiff at all anymore. If you dedicate yourself to stretching daily and holding each stretch for a little bit longer each day, you will see great results.
