Question
im in 7th grade and in one week is tryouts for cheer for next year. I was a cheerleader last year at a different school but that squad was no cut. so i didnt really get taught everything i needed. The squad im trying out for is much harder and i need to know toe touch and herdlers and herkies and this is my last resort i have asked my older cheer friends but its like im getting no where! help please.

Hi Mia,

The best way to learn a toe touch and other jumps is to see them done and mimic the way you watch them. Here is some links to a youtube video made by expertvillage:

To get your jumps nice and high, work on flexibility by sitting in all three splits as well as a frog stretch.
