Question
hi im a newbie going into my junior year of highschool.i currently do lacrosse and i want to try out for cheerleading.what kind of workouts and condiotining should i do to make the squad...o if it helps im 6"0 and 156 lbs

Answer
First off you'll need to decide what you want to do. If you want to primarily be a tumbler then your weight would probably work out. If you want to primarily be a stunter then you'll need to do a general weight workout to put on some muscle up from the 156 at your height. As for specific lifts/exercises for cheerleading you'll want to do alot of military presses and power clings. Beyond that though nothing compares to actually partner stunting so that should be your main goal if you want to be a stunter is find an experienced girl and take lessons.
