Question
For a flyer, do you have to weigh a certain amount to be in the air?

Answer
Hello!!!

There is not a magic number that all flyers need to weigh.  It needs to be one of the smaller girls on the squad just because it is easier to do more difficult stunts that way, but it also depends in body control and flexibility. A flyer has to be strong enough and confident enough to get herself up there. So much of the motion of a stunt is provided by the climber and if they don't have the muscle and technical knowledge to do that then the stunt won't go up, even if the flyer only weighs twenty pounds. Stunting is more about technique than weight. If you have a stunt group that knows the proper form and motions of a stunt, then it will be a successful stunt.  If this raises any more questions for you, please do not hesitate to ask. I hope this helps :)
