Cheerleading - is it to late

Question
My friend convinced me to do cheer with her but one problem is that i never cheered before and that i am a senior at my school. Is It to late for me to become one ? even with little experience? My school is just all girl cheer so i didn't have a chance to tryout.  what are some thing i can do to prepare my self for tryouts and what i can do to help me self become a great base?

Answer
Well you are talking to living proof that it's never too late. I never cheered until I was a 26yo freshman (took alot of time off between high school and college). Basically for starters being at high school you just need to get on a safe weight routine and practice partner stunting as much as possible.
