Cheerleading/Beeing a flyer

Question
You probably get this question alot but; I'm starting with cheerleading on a new team next week, I've never done it on a team before just playing around with friends. It's an open team. Even though I'm happy with any position I would love to become a flyer. I've done a little bit of acrobatics but I always got put as base an it was dead boring plus my partner didn't trust me. I'm 5"9 and 135,5 and i know that's not the ideal measures. I've danced for 7 years and done ballet for a little more than 5 (on the best RAD school in Scandinavia, [awarded in 2005]), so I'm quite flexible and my core has gotten extremely good lately. I'm not afraid of heights or falling, but my back is kind of stiff, is that a big problem? What are my chances of becoming a flyer?
Thank you:)

Answer
There are no set measurements for being a flyer. i think you would be a good lfyer since you have done ballte and are flexible. the stiff back might be a problem especially if you are doing scorpions and stuff like that. But it really just depends on what your coach is looking for but im sure you will have fun no matter what position you have.
