Question
OK. to start off I should tell you that i am a flyer. So last week i fell from an extension and it was my fault. I think it was because i wasnt being tight, im still not quite sure. But know im scared to do extensions or any other stunts for that matter. And now to top it all of, i have just found out that for our christmas assebly we will be doing some hardcore stunts. And we will be starting on these stunts in two weeks (we dont have cheer next week)and i have decided that i want our group to do really well so im going to really try hard by doing abb and leg strenghtening. Our group is really good at libs but we are the worst at extensions (if that makes any sense). I have a lot of confidence and all, but what im worried about is when we acually stunt i might back out or something. So do you have any tips on what i can do to get rid of my fear of extensions and make me stay tight? And what i can do to be more enthusiastic about stunting? And do you think it could be because i was having a bad stunting day? OH and also my cradles are really bad and do you know how i can improve them? Any tips would be great. THANKS!

Answer
Ok. When your flying don't be nervous. You have 3 people under you and you need to focus on being as tight as possible. An analogy my squad always uses is: act like there's a penny in your butt cheeks and and you can't let it fall out so be as tight as possible. When your cradling.. Once they throw you up to cradle.. You will reach as high as you can go and once you've reached that peak go into your cradle position and let them catch you:) if you can do a libb then you can do an extension as well.. I have faith that you ca do it.. Good Luck!!!
