About Katlin
Expertise
I can answer all kinds of questions that are about tumbeling, stunting, flying, cheering, dancing, flexabilty, motions, and just getting back in shape. I can't answer questions about the drill team. I was on an all-star team for 7 years and am currently on my high school team which I have been on for 3 years, and I am currently captain of my high school squad. On my all-star team I was a flyer, a base, and a tumbler. I would be glad to help you, so you may give me some of your questions and I would be glad to give you as much information as I can.

Question
Hey! I am a freshman trying out for both JV and Varisty. I tried out for cheerleading last year, and didn't make it!  this year.. Things are much harder and there are lots of requirements!  I am attending open-gym at my school right now.  I seem to be getting everything farely well, but I can't get my 360 cradle.  Do you have any suggestions?  Any other tips on being a good flyer or cheerleader?  How about tips on trying out?!?

Thanks a bunch!
Love,
Mel

Can you email me some of the tips??

Answer
Heyy Melanie,
You are sooo lucky lol ... my school doesn't allow flying!!!
Okayy on a full make sure you (if you are turning left) to take your left arm and put it in your right back pocket and put your right to your left back pocket and put your chin to your left shoulder. This will help you spin faster . Also make sure you ride your pop don't just take it right off ... let them throw your then spin...
Tips For being a better Flyer:
              1. Make sure you don't look at ther ground pick something straight across or a little higher so you stand up nice and tall
              2.  Make sure you stretch, and being flexible helps a lot.
              3. Stay up in the air no matter what, don't worry about if they are holding your foot wrong just keep your chin up and act like everything is perfect.
ANY  OTHER QUESTIONS YOU HAVE LET ME KNOW I WILL BE MORE THEN HAPPY TO HELP YOU!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Sincerly,
    Katlin <3
