I have a question regarding the uniforms that cheerleaders wear. What is the name of the part of the uniform that is worn under the cheerleader's skirt or uniform?
It resembles panties, but I do not believe this is the term that is used.

I'm not so sure why. I was always wondering that myself. Maybe cause their made of spandex? Who knows.

I think most cheerleaders wear any form of underwear under them, but some cheerleaders actually like to go commando. It's all personal preference. Also, depending on what type of bloomers you have would say what type of underwear you should wear underneath. If you have the boy short cut bloomers, you can wear just about any type of underwear and if you have the regular underwear shape, you would want to stay clear of the boy cut style underwear so you don't bunch up.
