Cheerleading/One Man Stunts

QuestionQUESTION: Alright, well recently this guy on my cheerleading team has learned how to do a "toss to hands" and a full extension one man with me. We're planning on doing a lib one man in competition but have no idea how to go about it. Any suggestions?
ANSWER: Wow, i mean a lib is a semi-basic stunt but it's pretty difficult to explain over the net. I'm sure you've seen them done but in a perfect scenario you'd have a coach there teaching you how. Some of the basics is to 1). not pull your leg up too soon, ride it up. 2). Make sure you pull to the center and he pushes your one foot to the center. 3). make sure he doesn't get a "hamburger" grip. 4). squeeze squeeze squeeze every muscle in your body. 5). do not try to balance yourself, let the guy move under you to balance you. and there's alot of others. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

QUESTION: Alright thanks so much. I was just wondering how you would suggest doing it because my cheer coach says like the only way to do the lib is to start in a chair sit and then push it up to a full lib...idk it just doesn't seem right. He has a hard time with the chair sit so i was wondering if the whole toss to hands then popping to a full lib would be any easier?
AnswerHands to lib is 100 times easier. Chair to lib is 100 times more impressive and i've done both (as well as straight toss to lib) but toss to hands and then up to lib would be the easiest way to learn it first. Because with all due respect unless your partner is left handed or they are teaching you an opposite lib as a regular lib you can't really do it. Because the foot you would grab to do a chair to hands or chair to lib is the opposite foot than you'd do a regular two person lib on.
