Question
the school cheer leading try outs are coming up and I would like to go, i can be very loud, have good memory, know all the moves, and everyone says that I look like one. But all the girls in the team are mean to me and I get shy in front of people and most often freeze. I have been a cheer leader before but that was at the school i used to go to and tis is a new one and i was injured before and if i do too much gymnastics my back feels like its going to break. do you have any tips?

Answer
Hey Cait!

Don't get discouraged if some of the girls seem mean to you. They are either (A) jealous of your talent or (b) they have the wrong mindset that they run the squad. My advice to you would be to get a close friend to try out with you. That way you won't be as nervous and it's a good way to spend time with friends!  Good luck!
