Question
I would like to start a drillteam and I would like the kids to be in competitions and parades.Do I need a business license or where do I start.

Answer
HI Tamisha,
Starting a drillteam is a lot different then startig a cheer team.  Now for in starting a drill team if you are thinking more along the lines of getting a building then YES you do need a busines license.  You would also have to get a coaching liscense, and liability forms for the kids that enroll in you business.  To get them in competitions you will probably want to go to some competitions to see what they are like and find out about the rules and regulations for the copetitive teams.  IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME. Good luck!

Expertise

I can answer all kinds of questions that are about tumbeling, stunting, flying, cheering, dancing, flexabilty, motions, and just getting back in shape. I can't answer questions about the drill team. I was on an all-star team for 7 years and am currently on my high school team which I have been on for 3 years, and I am currently captain of my high school squad. On my all-star team I was a flyer, a base, and a tumbler. I would be glad to help you, so you may give me some of your questions and I would be glad to give you as much information as I can.
