Question
Well I have never cheerleader in my life. And I really would like to try it out. I'm not really that flexible. I need some kind of cheer stretches that will help me as a cheerleader and for try-outs. Try-outs will be in about 3-4 months and I was wondering if it's possible to become really flexible in 3 months.

Also I want to know what to expect during tryouts.

Answer
Hey Ariel..

For TRYOUTS:
  * basic motions
  * basic jumps w/ prep.
  * loud voice
  * energetic and confident

yes it is possible for you to become flexible.. you are just goign to have to stretch everyday..

STRETCHES:
  *splits (sit in them why you are watching tv and each time you do them go down a little farther this will help with tht area.
  * regular stretches
 * back/arm stretches are also very important so work on those too

fi you need more help let me know :]]

Expertise

I can answer all kinds of questions that are about tumbeling, stunting, flying, cheering, dancing, flexabilty, motions, and just getting back in shape. I can't answer questions about the drill team. I was on an all-star team for 7 years and am currently on my high school team which I have been on for 3 years, and I am currently captain of my high school squad. On my all-star team I was a flyer, a base, and a tumbler. I would be glad to help you, so you may give me some of your questions and I would be glad to give you as much information as I can.
