Question
Hi! My school squad is really good at stunting(for our age)
and so i stunt some too, but i usually backspot because the other flyers our a lot shorter than me so it would look off proportion. but monday they made me base i was doing ok a little slow but ok when my wrists started hurting so we had to bring it down a little later they felt better so we went into it again but they starting hurting again why could this be? I really need to now because they need more bases cause every one wants to backspot. If you now why can you tell me what to do? Thanks!

Hi Laurel,

  Sounds to me like two things. #1 your wrists aren't strong enough. You need to stretch and strengthen them. Lift weights, and stretch them alot. #2 you're just not used to to basing yet. Its new to your wrists and the rest of your body. Do these things and before you know it, basing will be alot easier. Good Luck!

Experience

My Experience in the area: I cheered on my grade school team for 4 years. I danced for on pointe for 14 years. I have coached for 9 years for grade school basketball cheerleading, grade school competitive squads, and all-star. I now own my own national championship all-star team.

Education/Credentials
I am safety certified by the AACCA. I have a BA in Elementary Education and am a certified teacher. I also have my masters in library science with an emphasis on teens.
