Question
I cant do a toe touch and try-outs are in 4 days what am I supposed to do?

Answer
Hey Stephanie. Alright, so you first have to learn how to do the prep. They would most likely teach you how to do it, though.

My squad uses this form on a regular 8 count:
5, 6, 7,
8-clasp
1-hit a "high V"
2-raise yourself onto your toes
3-swing arms inwards
4-hit "T" and hit your jump
5-land
6-hold
7-stand up
8-restart/end

You have to make sure you whip your legs up then back down. Also that you hit each motion hard because whether you start it sharp or sloppy, the rest of your jump will follow suit. You have to make sure you don't bend over and don't go too far when swinging your arms around when hitting the "T". You'll lose momentum if you go farther than that.
If you want to work on getting them higher, you can do calf raises (raising yourself onto your toes when standing flat on the ground).

Hope this helped you and I hope you make the squad!

Love always, Kiki Quach
