Question -
I took a six week class (once a week)for cheer/tumbling. I got a flip flop with a spotter. My coach says that I'm ready to go into a flip flop from a roundoff. I've tried, but I get scared doing it alone. Is there any way to get over my fear and get a flipflop w/o a spotter?

Answer -
Have you already done a standing backhandspring without a spotter?
Nope. what can i do to get it?

Answer
I don't think you will like my answer, but you need to continue to work on your standing backhandspring with a spotter until YOU decide that you are comfortable attempting one alone.  Personally, I recommend my athletes to have a standing backhandspring alone before they attempt a round-off backhandspring.  Good luck and let me know if you need further assistance!
