Question
i was just wondering if you have any ideas that we can do at a peprally?are peprallys down here arent that exciting we need something to pump everybody up!please help!i also have another questeion>we have camp like in 2 weeks!we need  dance music for our dance routine!please help!

Answer
Pep rallies. I love em! My favorite part of cheering besides the tumbling. I would start by playing music, doing your school song and dance (if you have one), doing lots of lifts and crowd involvement cheers is good. Sometimes we do weird things, sometimes we do funny things. Like once we wrote out a whole bunch of embarassing questions and weird questions and had the team members draw a question and answer it in fron of the entire school, or once we tied a girl and boy member of the basketball team together and made them play eachother. Like we put the tallest guys with the shortest girls and vice versa. Another thing we do for regular games is give a spirit award. The person with the most pep and spirit during the game gets a prize like a pop and candy bar or something. You could try that for your pep rallies. Having the team captains come down and talk can be fun sometimes too. I hope this has provided you with some good ideas, if you want more contact me again, I'll take a little longer to think about it.

You already have a routine but no music? Isn't that hard? For our last dance we chose to put 3 songs together. We did the theme to Mission Impossible, Mortal Kombat, and one other one that I don't remember at the moment. Oh wait. It was James Bond. Try picking cool themes like that. Or, if you can only have one song, I would try fun, popular, bouncy songs. Like I've always wanted to do U.G.L.Y. from Bring It On. But most importantly, pick songs that will mean something with your dance. That's why we pick our music first and then put the moves to the music.

Hope I was of some help. If you need more ideas please, contact me. I'd be glad to try and help some more.

Expertise

I can answer a lot of questions on cheerleading. This includes cheers, jumps, and stunts. I`ve won Best Over-all in all the camps I`ve been to, and I took tumbling for 10 years so I can answer there too. I made Varsity football and basketball cheerleading my freshman year and would love to help others! I`ve also been through the whole competition thing!

Experience

I've been cheering for what seems like forever!

Organizations
I'm a former member of our school's basketball squad (I didn't try out this year) and a current member of our football squad. I participate in competitions, and attend camps both in and out of the squad.
