Hey, I'm a guy, and next year I want to maybe join the cheer squad.  Problem is, next year I'll be a junior, and I'm a guy.  Do you think cheer is something you can get into 2 years late, and what exactly do guys do on the cheer squad (Ie, how much prancing and mincing and stuff is involved :)  Thanks in advance

I think that's fantastic that you want to join the cheerleading squad. Quick fact for you, the very first cheerleading squad that started this whole thing was all guys. :-) I defiantly dont think getting into it 2years is too late, it also depends on how advanced the squad is. I would definantely practice all the skills, motions, gymnastics if you have any and getting into shape if you arent allready. i would watch a couple of practices. The really appreciates a guy who joins as it gives them more stunts to try and guys tend to be more stable in my opinion, i feel safer with a guy tossing me up than a girl. Guys are involved with everything the girls are like motions and even dancing but dont be scared of it. Where are you located anyway?
