Cheerleading - starting again

Expert: Nicole - 7/6/2007

Question
I'm going into eighth grade and haven't done cheerleading since forth grade. I'm starting again, and I'm hoping to be a flyer, do you think 98 pounds is too much? And, what should I learn over the summer to be a good cheerleader? How should I learn it?

Answer
No 98 pounds is not too much. Over the summer, you should practice your flexibility, practice your tumbling skills, and just practice the cheers, or dances you have to learn(if any). You could take classes if you wanted to, if they were offered in your area. Let me know how it goes!
