hey jessica,we meet again lol

hey i just want to know if i can take uniforms to a tailor to get them done because i dont trust the internet when it comes to ordering uniforms online so i thought i should take uniforms to a tailor since its more convinient for all of us since most of the online stores are in the u.s and not the best designs. but how can i choose materials that the colors dont bleed when i wash them and how can i get prints done for lettering and if i cannoth are there any alternatives.

Hi Cheryl,

Many teams choose to have their uniforms done at a tailor instead of ordering them online.  The material I would recommend is a polyester blend.  It doesn't shrink, it doesn't stain, and it looks good on the cheerleaders.  If you do not want to go to a tailor I would recommend checking out www.varsity.com and going to their "CHEER" section.  The have a list of wonderful suppliers for uniforms.

Experience

I cheered for 13 years and have experience coaching recreation league cheer squads, all-star teams, middle school and high school teams. I currently teach tumbling at a gymnastics facility and have previously directed an all-star program.

I belong to the Kentucky Association of Pep Organization Sponsors as a certified routine judge, USA Gymnastics Professional Member, American Assocation of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors, and the United States All Star Federation.

Education/Credentials
I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Eastern Kentucky University.

Awards and Honors
Five former students have gone at to receive cheerleading scholarships at the following schools: University of Florida, Western Kentucky University, Northern Kentucky University, and Centre College. I also have choreographed many state championship squad routines both for school teams and all star teams as well as stunt group routines.
