Question
hey,
i go to a private school where we only have basketball and cheerleading! well
for some reason the school decided to cancel this years cheerleading
program. so i decided maybe to try gathering up a few of my friends and start
my own. we all have one problem.....UNIFORMS ARE SO EXPENSIVE! how do
start fundraising if i dont have ANY money to buy stuff to sell? also our
school doesnt have a feild or any grassy area where we can practice do u have
any suggestions on where and what day is best for practice?

Answer
Well, you can always ask for parents support and donations and also if you manage to get some money, there are places all around that help you fundraise. My cheer squad had See's Candies to sell and we sold it for double.

If you have a nearby gym or a gymnastics academy, they usually let cheerleaders come in and use the open gym time. That's a good plan because they also have the right equipment for learning how to tumble.

Just make sure you keep your eye out for opportunities.
