Question
hi, yes i want to start a cheer squad of my own meaning the real stuff because i at my school its fake and i always wanted to start one but i don't know what to do can U help me!!

Answer
Hi Anthony,

The answer to starting a cheer team is hard work. You need to find someone to run the team for you, advisors and coaches, a place to hold practice, equipment to use, kids to be on the team, etc. Then, you'd need to charge the athletes to cover the cost of renting practice space, competition fees, uniforms, music, etc. If you're under 21, this might be very hard to do. I didn't start my team until I was 22, and it's still difficult 3 seasons later. While, I encourage you to go for starting your own team, with all the legal issues that are involved as well, it may be a better choice to try to fix your school team instead. Talk to the coaches, and if that isn't working, go straight to the principal, and other administration. Good Luck with it all. Let me know how it goes!
Happy Cheering!
