Do you know the actual copyright date? (It's funny that the show first aired in the early 80's, but both my 13 and 20 year olds have it on their iPods...)

  It is cool that the theme is still available and out there for a new generation. A classic never goes out of style. Anyways, the song was written specifically for the show when it was getting started in 1982. Thanks for writing!.
