Question
Can polypropylene plastic be heated in the microwave?

Answer
Hi,
The polypropylene (PP) itself can not adsorb the wave energy in the range of kitchen microwaves! So it means that you can use PP container to warm your food in the microwave, but you can not heat it!
By the way, if the PP product contains even a small percentage of carbon black, it will be easily over-heated (degraded) in the microwave.
