what is the criteria for phd admission for international student (I am from Pakistan)
how can i get scholarship for my phd studies

Dear Saad,
There is not a written limitation for admission of a PhD student! (because you need to pay for your study)
The most important point is that you find a supervisor who will take you.
All the universities website has a section for prospective students, and specially for international students. So, the documents they need differ from university to university, but we can summarize them as:
- Toefl or IELTS grade
- GRE (professional language)
- Good academic records
- Your CV

If you want to get some fund before traveling there, you need to communicate with academic staffs in chosen university to see if they have any research project by which they can pay a monthly salary to you! The point in this case is to have excellent academic records and also some international publications (like ISI papers).
There is no limitation for age, but there is a preference to take the young and fresh PhD student.
