Question
I have a lasting chemical smell in my Miami, FL apartment. The oder remains on your clothing after you leave the premises. I have had mold remediation & engaged an Oder Hygenist, who could could not find the source (no pets or recent painting).
What type of scientific specialist &/or firm would you suggest I contact to resolve this problem?

I would think an air quality analyst might be able to help you out.  I would think they would need to take a long term sample in which they filter a large quantity of air to see if they can get a good enough sample to identify your problem.  A lot of times carpets will hold residual odors forever, which is why in my last homes I replaced all the carpet with wood floors.  OSHA or the state environmental services office should be able to give you a number of someone to talk to about air sampling.  I hope this helps.
