Chemical Engineering/question about vicosity

Question
Hello,My need is for an inexpensive liquid that shares the same viscosity and weight of corn syrup that has been reduced by 75 percent. This solution is a main component for a mattress topper I am trying to create. The slow moving, conforming substance is what I am seeking.Does a non toxic chemical equivalent exist?

Answer
It appears as if my first answer got lost in the system, and now I don't recall what I originally said so I'll start over.  If you're looking for relatively safe viscous materials I'd say some sort of mineral oil would be a possible choice.  You can get it in a variety of viscosities and it is typically non-flammable.  Any particular reason you couldn't use corn syrup?  This also can be provided with a range of viscosities depending on water content, and is definitely non-toxic.
