Chemicals/Earth water

Question
Out of space debris, dust, etc, pulled together by gravity into a hot molten ball, where did all the water on earth come from?

Answer
I'm not sure if there is one theory on where water came from.  I know one theory is that comets, asteroids, contained ice - those objects when impacting the Earth transfered the water to our planet.  Also, condensation from Earths atmosphere could also be a possiblity.
