Question
why do some chemicals freeze faster then other chemicals?? For example, MgCl2 and NaCl. Thank you

The freezing temperature of solid salts is just related to the different thermodynamic stabilities of the liquid and solid states.  If you are talking the freezing of water containing salts it has to do with the disruption of the process by the salt (google freezing point depression).  See the links below.
