I have just applied for employment at a facility which produces this product. I would like a general overview of the process. I have an instrumentation background but it is in thermoplastic resin manufacture. thIS PRODUCT IS NON-ORGANIC. Can you assist me
There may be new syntheses used industrially that are not public domain. The old lab way to make it was
NaBF4 + B2O3 + H2SO4 = BF3 + NaHSO4 + H2O
or start with NH4BF4
Honeywell has a good webpage, but they don't give a synthesis.
