Chemicals/paint removal

Question
What is the best chemical to remove graffiti (enamel paint-mat finish paint) from bare brick?

Answer
Go to Lowes or Home Depot.  You may need to go to a janitorial supply.  They sell graffiti removal mixes (spray cans).  You need a mix since you don't know the source (paint, ink, wax?).  Because of the chemicals involved, don't try to mix your own.

CAUTION: the chemicals involved can be harmful or dangerous if not used by the directions on the can.  READ THE DIRECTIONS.  KEEP ALL CHILDREN AWAY.

Since it is bare brick, you may need to either start or followup with a power washer to get into the cracks and such.
