Question
How do I remove a newspaper ink stain from linoleum?

Answer
Inks and chemical dyes can be difficult to remove.  I would recommend rubbing some bleach directly from the bottle.  Let it stand for a while and see if that works.  If that does not work, you may want to try a little acetone. This solvent can be purchased at a hardware store.

Make sure you try the acetone in on the linoleum in a small section before you attempt to use it on your ink stain.  I am not sure if the acetone will react with the floor (wax).

Good luck.
