Question
I have read that the chemical analysis can be used to calibrate the instruments like thermometers. But I can’t understand this that how it is chemical analysis. Please explain this I am a student?

Answer
Here is a good reference on how thermometers are calibrated.

You would need to give me more info on the "chemical analysis" method.  I've never heard of it, unless it is refering to looking at salt solutions, which is not really a chemical method.

You also might be refering to thermocouple use.

I just need more information on what you read to give you a good answer.
