Chemistry (including Biochemistry)/copper reactivity

Question
Hi,
my question is: will copper (specifically a copper pipe) react with a dough made up of sugar, water and   small amount of glycerin?  if yes, what will happen to the dough? will be discolored or any other kind of reaction takes place? and will it be safe to digest the dough rolled with the copper pipe?  I thank you in advance:)

Answer
Digesting the glycerin might be the biggest problem.  Unless the copper pipe is corroded or chipped, nothing should happen.  I would not do it.  That's what rolling pins do.  And that receipe will not make dough, so check your ingredients.
