Chemistry (including Biochemistry)/equilibrium position

Question
I have a question related to chemical equilibrium. First of all what is equilbrium position and secondly what is the differnce between equilibrim constant and equilibrium position.

Answer
The equilibrium is a constant number that applies to the system under study.  See definition in your textbook.

Position refers to the physical change in the equilibrium if it is disturbed.  For example if you add more of one reactant, the reaction shifts towards the products so that the equilibrium is reestablished according to the constraints of the equilibrium constant.
