Question
If you have any knowledge on this topic your help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot seem to find an answer otherwise.

It is known that lemon juice kills some bacteria, viruses, etc. If lemon juice is mixed with babyoil will the lemon juice, or acid, still be effective in killing bacteria, viruses, etc?

Thank you very much

Ryan Davenport

Answer
Yes, but three problems.

1. It probably will not mix well or not stay mixed.  It may even react with some types of oil.

2. It would be irritating or even damaging to the baby's bottom.

3. It will not be as effective as synthethic biocides and probably will not do much against most viruses.
