Question
I doing a study on plants dyes and mordants. I am trying to see which mordant: salt or viniger will be more lasting. But I also would like  to record my measurements with observatios, and the problem i faced is that I can not find a way of measuring the fadeness of colors after I wash the fabrics few times. I did found out about the Munsell book of colors. Would that be a way of measuring the fadenesss?

The correct term is colorfastness.  What you suggest would give you a very qualitative way to do it, but for real measurements you need a spectrophotometer, Method 61 at
http://www.aatcc.org/Technical/Test_Methods/Topic_List.htm You would only get comparison observations.  You could also use judges who estimate the color loss.
