Question
Can a king which is in check with a pawn protected by the players king move his king adjacent to the opponents king which is being protected by a bishop

Answer
Thanks for the question, John!  A King can NEVER move to a square immediately adjacent to his opponent's King.  Furthermore, a King can never move to any square that is being attacked by an enemy piece or pawn.  Hope that answers your question.  Enjoy your chess!
