Chess/your article on B + N mate

Question
Hi Louis,

Good morning from Yorkshire, England.

I discovered your 10 minute videos on You Tube on the subject of executing the K + B + N mate, and was most interested. I am a poor chess player, who didn't take up the game until I retired from work (thus my targets are limited!).

I have found that there is very little in chess literature which is algorithmic, or procedure based. Your videos do fall within this category, and I am greatly interested.

In the article which you wrote on the K + B + N mate there is a reference to an updated article in PDF form. If this still exists I would be grateful to receive it.

Do let me know if (when) you achieve your grading aim!

Regards,

Joe Richardson

Answer
Dear Joe,

Attached kindly find the PDF file.

Most chess literature close to the category you described can probably be found in the endgame phase of the game, especially King + Pawn endgames.

It seems that I cannot attach a file here, only an image. Thus, please e-mail me at chesslearning@gmail.com and I will e-mail you the pdf file.

Warmly,
Louis
