Chess/TD pre-test

Question
I run a small chess club and would like to administer a pretest to some of our players wanting to become tournament directors.  Are there any available for download?

Answer
Hello,

Its been awhile since I've ran tournaments, but to be a club tournament director is very easy. Just contact (e-mail) the United States Chess Federation for information. When I ran tournaments years ago, there was no test to become a club director (small events). The USCF would simply send a card to certify you as a club TD.  However, for more advanced levels such as Local, Senior or National TD's there was a test.
Again, contact the USCF and they can let you know what is required.

I hope this helps.
