Question
Who is better in an endgame with a king and queen vs a king, rook, and four pawns?

Answer
An interesting question!

As in any endgame position, it depends on where are the pawns?
Are they connected, isolated, doubled, tripled?
If the pawns are scattered, and not too far advanced,  take the King and Queen.

However, if two or three  pawns are connected and supported by the King and rook,
the King and Queen has a good chance of losing or drawing this battle.

I hope this helps!
