Question
What is the best electronic device that I can use to practice chess. I have the CD "Chessmaster 10th editon" and practice with my computer but I need a device that is portable (something like a laptop) and low in cost. Is there anything more compact (smaller and easier to carry) than a laptop, something I can used ONLY for practicing chess. Thanx

Answer

This is a great question but I am ill-suited to answer it.
I study with my computer, chess e-books,data bases and good old fashion books.
There are electronic devices that are sold for this very reason...portability.
You can go to the USCF (united States Chess Federation) online store.
They either have it in stock or can direct you to a supplier.
It should not be too difficult to find exactly what you want.

I hope this helps.
