QUESTION: I looked at amazon.com and there are two books by Evans that are similar: Test your Chess I.Q and How good is your Chess? What are the differences between the two?

Thanks

Answer
Hi Edward,

Actually if you can it would be good to get both, as not only Evans a good instructional chess writer, but these books can be used together.  The exercises are different in each book, but serve the same purpose as the positions come from actual games.

One difference with How Good Is Your Chess? Is that it allows you to find your true chess level as players can calculate their own rating.

Len
