Question
Dear Chuck

Do you feel that the player who plays with
Both Hands have an edge over the Chess player who can play with only one Hand in Rapid chess Games?.

Thanks
Prashant

Answer
Hi, Prashant.

In blitz chess, it would be a big advantage to be able to play with either hand since Black gets to choose the placement of the clock.  Since most people are righthanded, when you have the white pieces you have to cross over the board with your right hand to punch the button on the clock.  That can slow you down a bit.  If you can move lefthanded when the clock is on your left, then you would be able to move quicker since you wouldn't be crossing over the board to punch the clock.

Hope that answers your question.

Your chess friend,

Chuck
