Question
Hi, I have just started playing chess with the game that comes with Windows Vista. Is there ever a time that the King cannot capture an opponents Queen? Also, is there ever a time a Queen cannot capture a pawn, for instance, from behind? Both of these cases have happened to me, where I could not make the capture. Thanks, Sis

Answer
Hello Sis,

Unfortunately, computer software programs are not my area of expertise.
The only piece in chess that cannot capture backwards is of course the pawn.
I would think there is a glitch with your program that causes this type of error. I would contact the manufacturer to see if they can help.

I hope this helps.
